A table tennis tournament was held for international students of TSTU 
Last week a table tennis tournament was held between teams of foreign students of the TSTU Faculty of International Education and students of Lyceum № 29. The purpose of the event was to promote a healthy lifestyle, develop intercultural communication, integrate foreign students into a new socio–cultural environment and motivate them to study at TSTU
TSTU students took part in an intellectual quiz for the International Student's Day 
On November 17 students of Tambov State Technical University from different countries took part in the intellectual quiz "Student Unity" dedicated to the International Students' Day as part of the activities of the International Friendship Club of the Tambov Region. The quiz was organized by the Department of Youth Policy and the Tambov Region Youth House with the support of the Ministry of Sports of the Tambov Region. All participants and prize-winners were awarded with certificates and gifts from the Ministry of Sports.
TSTU students study intellectual production on an internship in China 
Students and postgraduates of the Department “Computer Integrated Systems in Mechanical Engineering” of TSTU continue to study China's experience in working on numerically controlled machines. The internship takes place in Chongqing during November. Now they are studying CNC turning and milling technologies, five-axis machining technologies in the field of intelligent manufacturing. Theoretical knowledge is immediately consolidated in practice at Chongqing enterprises.
Representatives of TSTU received awards at the international review competition of the best final qualifying works in architecture, design and art 
The XXXIII International Review Competition of the best final qualifying works in architecture, design and art was held in Yekaterinburg on the basis of the Ural State University of Architecture and Art named after N.S. Alferov. The main mission of the competition is to improve the quality of education in the field of architecture and urban planning, restoration and design. Tatyana Yelchishcheva, Head of the Department “Architecture and Urban Planning” and Anastasia Putintseva, Associate Professor of the Department “Architecture and Urban Planning, took part in the work of the award commissions. The department submitted 4 works in the field of Architecture and 2 works in the Master's degree program "Urban Planning" to the competition. All the presented works were highly awarded.
The Head of the Department “Biomedical Engineering” took part in the International Biomedical Summit 
Sergey Frolov, Head of the Department “Biomedical Engineering” made a presentation at the VIII Sechenov International Biomedical Summit: Scientific and Technological Cooperation in the Medical industry, which took place at the Sechenov University. The report presented the results of the work carried out within the framework of the project of the Russian Science Foundation to develop an incubator for newborns of a new generation. An experimental laboratory installation was demonstrated, which will be the basis for the development of a mock-up of such an incubator.
TSTU students came to China for an internship 
Representatives of the Department “Computer Integrated Systems in Mechanical Engineering” of Tambov State Technical University came to China Congquing Industry Polytechnic College for an internship in high-tech equipment with numerical control. During the month representatives of TSTU will undergo a training module on the management of processing technology on CNC machines in the field of equipment production, visit industrial enterprises in Chongqing, undergo an internship on production lines, share their experience as part of participation in the International Forum on Intelligent Manufacturing.
On the occasion of National Unity Day TSTU established the Association of Foreign Graduates 
The Association unites graduates of the University from 1996-2024. The main activities of the association are the development of university relations with foreign graduates of different years, coordination, assistance in the adaptation and employment of specialists who have completed bachelor's, master's and postgraduate studies in Russia and have sufficient experience in various fields, promotion of Russian education, science and culture abroad, thematic meetings of association members, academic exchange and internship in foreign companies.
A lesson "Russia is the territory of unity" was held for international students 
The teachers of the Faculty of Foreign Education of TSTU prepared a thematic open lesson "Russia is the territory of unity" for international students on the eve of National Unity Day on October 31. Young people from all over the world got acquainted with the history and significance of the holiday, with the diversity of peoples and traditions of our country.
The delegation of TSTU took part in the celebration of the anniversary of the Belarusian State Agrarian Technical University 
The partner of TSTU Belarusian State Agrarian Technical University celebrated its 70th anniversary. In honor of the anniversary the delegation of TSTU took part in a solemn meeting . Tambov State Technical University was represented by Alexander Maistrenko, Vice-rector for Property Complex Development, Andrey Popov, Deputy Director for Educational Work at the Multidisciplinary College of TSTU and Sergey Vedishchev, Head of the Department of Agroengineering.
Online meeting of Tambov State Technical University with representatives of the Jiaxing Institute (China) 
On October 23, an online meeting with representatives of the Jiaxing Institute (China) took place at Tambov State Technical University. The meeting was attended by Elena Mishchenko, Vice-Rector for International Activities; Larisa Mikheeva, Head of the International Relations Office; Marina Blum, Head of the Department of Commerce and Business Informatics; Natalia Inkova, Associate Professor of the Department of Commerce and Business Informatics. In videoconference mode, the colleagues discussed the possibility of organizing and implementing professional retraining programs for Chinese students in the field of the Internet of things on the basis of TSTU, interaction in the field of innovative academic cooperation, research and project activities.
The IV International Scientific and Practical Conference "Digitalization of Agro-industrial Complex" was held at TSTU 
On October 23-24, the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference "Digitalization of Agro-Industrial Complex" was held at Tambov State Technical University. This year's event brought together more than 250 participants from Russia, Belarus, India and Kazakhstan, representatives of the scientific community, business and government agencies. At the conference participants presented new projects in the field of artificial intelligence, unmanned technologies, the Internet of things, big data for agriculture and raised the issues of implementing enterprise resource management systems, automation of production processes, the use of digital plant twins. The speakers also paid attention to relevant legal aspects of digitalization of agriculture.
TSTU scientists together with their colleagues from the BRICS countries are developing a large-scale scientific project on the disposal of food waste 
A group of researchers from Tambov Technical University, together with their colleagues from the Federal University of Alagoas (Brazil) and Three Gorges University (Chongqing , China) are developing a technology for recycling fried potato production waste. The researchers propose a comprehensive solution to the problem of recycling fried potato production waste. The combination of various technologies will allow to obtain biofuels, biofertilizers from waste and effectively purify waste water. Tambov State Technical University became the winner of the competition of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation for conducting scientific research together with organizations of the BRICS countries in the framework of the program of multilateral scientific and technological cooperation.
Students from Brest State Technical University arrived at TSTU on an exchange program 
From September 23 to 28, students from Brest State Technical University (Republic of Belarus) are studying at TSTU. They came on an exchange program to study at the Department of Computer-Integrated Systems in Mechanical Engineering.
During the week, BrSTU students study automated design and engineering calculation systems. Under the guidance of teachers from “Computer Integrated Systems in Mechanical Engineering” department, they work in the SolidWorks CAD/CAE system, the Ansys CAE system, and the SINUMERIK numerical software system. In addition, they visited the leading mechanical engineering enterprises of the Tambov region – “ZAVKOM” and “Innovation”, where they learned about the specifics of organizing production processes and the use of digital mechanical engineering technologies. TSTU and Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov signed an agreement on the implementation of a joint educational program 
Last week, within the framework of the annual XII meeting of the Russian-Kyrgyz Consortium of Technical Universities, which took place in the Issyk-Kul region of the Kyrgyz Republic, Tambov State Technical University and the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov signed an agreement on the program for the preparation and issuance of a double master's degree in architecture. At TSTU, this program will be implemented at the Institute of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Transport.
Russian-Belarusian youth scientific and practical conference "Science. Youth. Integration. Creativity" 
On September 20, the Russian-Belarusian youth scientific and practical conference "Science. Youth. Integration. Creativity", organized jointly by Tambov State Technical University and Baranovichi State University (Republic of Belarus) took place in the online format. TSTU and BarSU students delivered their reports and presentations in the following areas: information technologies and artificial intelligence, robotics and automation of technological processes, mechanical engineering, materials science and additive technologies, ecology and safety, energy and radioelectronics, instrumentation, construction and architecture, processes and devices of food and chemical technologies, agriculture and transport, logistics, economics and management, law.
TSTU teachers are implementing a course of guest lectures for students of Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov 
In the period of September 16-20, 2024 within the framework of the cooperation agreement between Tambov State Technical University and Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov, teachers of the Institute of Architecture, Construction and Transport of TSTU implemented a course of lectures for students and teachers of KSTU on the topics: “Assessment of the environmental friendliness of building and finishing materials based on their life cycle” and "Distribution of transport noise taking into account planning decisions for development in highway areas."
TSTU representatives took part in the Russian-Chinese round table 
On September 19 representatives of TSTU took part in an online round table "Intellectual Bridge: Russia-China". The participants of the round table were scientists, representatives of education, culture, and business of the Russian Federation and China, who presented their experience of scientific, educational, and socio-cultural cooperation between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China. The participants of the round table noted the importance of the project "Intellectual Bridge: Russia-China" for the continuation of positive historical traditions in the field of scientific cooperation between Russia and China, as well as the relevance and timeliness of strengthening relations between the countries. The Director of the Institute of Additional Professional Education, Doctor of Economics, Professor Natalia Zlobina represents TSTU in this project.
A creative meeting with the folklore ensemble "Bereginya" was held for international students of TSTU 
Every third Sunday in September, the Tambov region celebrates a holiday – the Day of Friendship of Peoples living in the Tambov region. In honor of this holiday, foreign students of the Faculty of International Education and teachers of the Department of Russian Language and General Education met with the folklore ensemble "Bereginya". The ensemble introduced the guests to the Russian folk instrument – the balalaika, with traditional wedding dance and dance songs of the Tambov region, and foreign students performed African dances, a drum battle and a soulful song about their homeland.
TSTU students are winners of the Presidential scholarships to study abroad 
The results of the All-Russian open competition for the appointment of scholarships by the President of the Russian Federation for students have been summed up. Among 28 students across the country, three students of Tambov State Technical University became winners. Alexandra Nazarova, a master's student in Computer Science and Computer Engineering, will go to Shenyang University of Technology (China), Ekaterina Surkova, a master's student in Computer Science and Computer Engineering, will go to China Jiliang University, and Mikhail Gogorian, a master's student in Electric Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering, will study at the University of East Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) in 2024/2025 academic year.
