Dear applicants!
Tambov State Technical University informs you that TSTU's foreign students' admission office doesn't take any fees for issuing the official invitations for studying or any official letters.
Tambov State Technical University accepts only tuition and hostel fees. Tuition and hostel fees can be paid to the official bank account of the university or to the cashier office of the university. All fees are to be made according to the signed contract between an applicant and the university.
All full-time students must have medical insurance that meets University criteria. The University assists students with obtaining an appropriate medical insurance upon their arrival to Tambov.

Answer: Dear Aviva,
Before you start any degree program you must complete the Russian language pre-university program. This program lasts for 10 months and usually starts in September-November.
Now you can apply for the next academic year which will start in September-November 2014.
To receive an official invitation to study at TSTU, an applicant should submit the following documents:
scanned copy of international passport;
scanned copy of education certificate;
completed application form (http://www.tstu.ru/en/tgtu/structure/fakul/doc/mo/appl_form.doc)
scanned copy of medical certificate, including chest X-ray results, HIV-test results.
As soon as we receive all your documents we will review them and if everything is according to our requirements we will submit your documents to get the official invitation for studying and according to it you will be able to get the visa for studying in our University.
As for the payments we have the following procedure (the prices are stated for the current academic year):
1. you should transfer the following payments to the University official bank account (you should transfer those payments before we send to you the original invitation):
Accommodation Fee- approximately 550 USD for 1 year stay in a shared room.
Tuition Fee - about 1800 USD for Pre-University Russian Language program.
2. you should pay the following payments upon your arrival to Tambov:
Medical Insurance fee - about 130 USD per 1 year
Multiple visa fee - about 30 USD. |

We have no academic programs taught in English. So, all foreign students who want to get Bachelor or Master degree should complete the Pre-university Russian Language program before the main program. |

From year 2014 all foreign students studying in Russian universities can get legal employment on the basis of their student visa. But, please note, that job market for foreign students is not very organized yet. And you should know that in order to get better job it is important to know Russian language. |

If you want to transfer from one university in Russia to another Russian university you don't need to leave Russia. You need to check with your new University what documents they request in order to enroll you.

Answer: Dear Sulaimon Alausa,
We can accept the applications for the next academic year (September 2014-June 2014) now. And those who will apply during the period till the mid of May have an advantage in payment. It means that they can pay for pre-university program according to the cost for the current academic year.
From May all costs will change and probably will be higher then now.
As for work permit: from year 2014 all foreign students studying in Russian universities can get legal employment on the basis of their student visa. But, please note, that job market for foreign students is not very organized yet. And you should know that in order to get better job it is important to know Russian language. |
