(pdf-file) Abstract: Problems of interconnection between electronic equipment element performance and generated electromagnetic fields are viewed in the article. It is pointed out that concentration of electromagnetic energy near defects may result in electronic equipment failure. Techniques of observation and measuring of magnetic fields near defects on flat conductors are discussed and methods of their calculation with the help of electron optical moire are offered in the article.

(pdf-file) Abstract: On the basis of the first-order solid-plate theory, proposed in earlier authors’ papers, the hybrid stress, strain and stress-strain quadrilateral ANS four-node plate elements are developed. All hybrid solid-plate elements are based on the unified technique that gives an opportunity to assess their advantages and disadvantages. For instance, a hybrid stress-strain quadrilateral ANS element permits the analytical integration, which leads to a very simple structure of its stiffness matrix. At the same time the hybrid stress ANS quadrilateral exhibits a superior performance in all plate problems considered but requires a numerical large size matrix inversion.
